Job summary: The Program Manager should have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. The goal is to ensure ERP Programs & Projects deliver the desirable outcome to our organization, by working with stakeholders in various business functions and senior IT management to align the ERP Roadmap with business targets. The successful candidate working with the stakeholders must be able to make frequent trade-offs between business
targets and projects and/or operational performance. As a senior member of the team there are expectations that large strategic projects will be managed by the ERP Program Manager.
Program Management
- Align the ERP Roadmap with business objectives
- Working with stakeholders in the various business functions, senior IT
management and IT Technical leads ensuring the ERP Roadmap is agreed and
socialised and aligned with business strategy - Using the ERP Roadmap to create resource plans and timings for new initiatives
- Provide direction to IT team members and project managers on projects
dependencies and the ERP Roadmap
Project Inception
- Working with stakeholders and IT Technical leads to create the business
requirements for new business initiatives - Work with stakeholders to build Project Teams
- Define documentation requirements for lifecycle of project using project tailoring
tools
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience in a project management role
- Extensive experience using project management software MS Project, MS Teams, MS
Planner and SAP preferably ECC6 - Thorough knowledge of CPQ Systems, Microsoft 365 suite and integration between
system - Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and
methodologies - At least four full cycle SAP implementations as a Project Manager and or Program
Manager - Experience communicating with global business users regarding business operations
and process improvement initiatives - Experience communicating with senior management and other functional stakeholders
regarding business priorities - Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience collaborating with multi-person virtual teams
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, have excellent initiative and possess strong analytical
skills - Strong personal motivation, excellent work ethic and positive, team-oriented mindset
Mandatory Education and Experience- B. Tech/B. E/MCA in a relevant field from a recognized university.
- PMP certification strongly preferred
- PgMP certification an asset but not required
- At least 12+ years’ experience in a project management preferably managing SAP
implementation projects for MNC clients or companies
