Job Summary:

Role: Chief of staff – Strategy

On the founders’ team, you would be working on global strategic business & operational problems from day1. You will establish and expand relationships with crypto-focused and traditional firms who can be potential clients and partners for our client. You will act as a subject matter expert and knowledgeable resource for prospective clients and internal teams. Most importantly, you will directly fuel our client’s growth engine by shaping the strategy in very close proximity to the cofounders. We see the role as the start of an exponential curve of learning, growth and rewards. 

Roles and responsibilities

• Partner with the founders and help drive a number of high-stakes projects and initiatives critical to the success of the organization.
• Act as a right-hand person to the co-founders, responsible for executing critical and strategic operations projects, and owning a portfolio of high priority projects
• Play the role of subject matter expert on crypto, identifying the needs of institutional clients and translating those requirements into business models/solutions that can be executed across the organization
• Strategic alliances identification and analysis
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive projects to closure 
• Solving problems through structured thinking, research, project planning, and on-ground execution

What are we looking for

• Experience in a core team/Founders Office role at a Series A- Series E stage crypto startup
• A solid understanding and previous work experience in the crypto ecosystem is a must.
• Past expertise & experience in crypto exchanges, market making desk, custodians, protocols or projects is a must. 
• Ability to build a network in the crypto ecosystem, understanding of concepts and critical infrastructure is expected.
• Willingness to hustle get their hands dirty, and comfort with ambiguity
• Someone who enjoys taking ownership learns quickly and has a bias for action
• Should be able to work with multiple internal and external stakeholder
• Has the ability to break down a problem into smaller chunks and the ability to balance between the big picture and tactical activities
