As a senior content editor, you will be responsible for maintaining content quality, improving reader experience, and ensuring content accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Help build an established brand voice and ensure writers/marketers adhere to brand and style guidelines.
- Review and revise blog posts as per project briefs and brand voice.
- Maintain the article quality and editor guidelines.
- Check for facts and improve the reader experience.
- Review website content and ensure it is detailed and comprehensive.
- Identify and update outdated material, including noting where visuals or videos are outdated or no longer accurate.
- Identify opportunities to proactively improve the content by rewriting, summarising, restructuring, strengthening sourcing, incorporating visual elements, filling coverage gaps, and more.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience writing or editing tech/product content
- Capable of explaining complex tech terminology and concepts in a clear and non-intimidating to a layperson.
- Stronghold over writing and editing.
- Comfortable with content management systems, including WordPress
- Proven ability and skills to drive a content project end-to-end.
- Hands-on, self-starter, capable of working independently
- Bachelor’s degree required
